Leasburg is a small town in Caswell County, North Carolina, with a population of approximately 1,000 people. It is located in the northern part of the state, about 50 miles northwest of Raleigh. Leasburg was established in the early 19th century and was first known as "Rougemont" before being renamed after a local landowner, James Lea, in 1825.
